Hi, I’m Juan (he/him/él)—a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, therapist, and owner of Mindful Therapy Services. I work with teens, adults, and partners/couples of all backgrounds navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, and more. I also specialize in working with individuals with immigrant backgrounds, Latinx, LGBTQ+, BIPOC, college students and staff, and folks who are neurodivergent.

My approach is relational (I promise to be human), person-centered, and collaborative. I received my training at the University of Chicago. I use evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and the Gottman Method to support clients. As a therapist, I value authenticity, humor, curiosity and enjoy creating a supportive space for growth for clients.
